We are delighted to announce that several works by Hazem Harb, including collages and an installation, is exhibited as part of The Global (e) Resistance. On view from 29 Jul 2020 - 4 Jan 2021.
This exhibition unveils works of more than sixty artists gathered over the past decade, most of them from South Africa, Middle East, Asia and Latin America Latin. The theme of the exhbition is to examine contemporary strategies of resistance. Harb's work which continues to probe occupation and imperialism through the remediation of ephemera from the Palestinian context neatly reflects the sentiments of Global (e) Resistance which also poses theoretical questions that range from the articulation of aesthetics and politics to the very relationship of the museum to politics within the art worlds.
